<p>Our 5-blade, H-shape turbines are optimized for tough and varied environmental conditions across Australia and are ideally suited to turbulent wind conditions. Annual average wind conditions vary substantially from coastal to inland areas and are affected by many topological conditions. ATD Energy is focused on customers with a genuine commitment to effective climate change reduction and a commercial necessity to reduce their energy costs – not simply the means to generate income from dwindling Feed-In-Tariffs.</p>
<p><span style="color: #007ed8;"><strong><em>Industries depend on energy when they need it – not when it’s generated.</em></strong></span></p>
<p>Wind resources are not uniform across an area, or a grid of say 5 square km. As well, different topologies and surrounding obstacles such as buildings, trees, and hilly terrain will impact wind flow. Our VAWTs combine five aerodynamically curved aerofoil blades connected to a centrally mounted permanent magnet generator. By adjusting the blade angle in real-time per rotation, the blade obtains the best angle at any azimuth, increasing the driving torque in both upwind and downwind positions. This means that each blade can supply and sustain power from any position using what is called ‘<strong>pitch angle regulation’</strong>.</p>
<p>Mounted high on a 12-metre pole, they require a low start-up torque, or a light gentle breeze to drive them and generate power. We currently provide these in 3kW, 5kW, and 10kW sizes to suit any environment from urban and rural, to industrial and commercial locations. High-end small-scale turbines are fast becoming a necessary addition to renewable energy systems.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p><strong>About Hybrid Solar Wind Turbine Lighting Systems.</strong> You may have heard about this relatively new idea called HSL or Hybrid Solar Lighting. These have their pros and cons as with any other purely solar-related system. Which is why we have gone two acronyms further to introduce the latest HSWTL systems – Hybrid Solar <em>and</em> Wind Turbine Lighting – naturally to generate power throughout an entire 24-hour period of gentle breeze.</p>
<p>Our <strong>HSWTL</strong> lights coupled with battery storage in each device, stores energy derived from sunshine and wind generators. They are independent of the grid, require no trenching or cable inter-connection and can operate as sensor-controlled devices up to 15-days without further charging. Remote program monitoring also allows for additional CCTV surveillance and a USB charging station lower down. This gives us a uniquely new acronym – HSWTLCCTVUSB – though probably best to stick to ‘Outdoor Lighting’.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Applications of these <strong>hybrid solar and wind turbine lighting systems</strong> are enormous – especially around bayside areas. They increase public safety, security, are quick and simple to install, and minimise disruption in the process. The high cost of trenching and connection to the grid is completely eliminated.</p>
<p>They operate via remote programming with multiple configurations for safety, monitoring, motion-detection and operating duration.</p>
<p>Their high efficiency output is achieved through a permanent magnetic generator with long-life bearings ensuring no mechanical noise. An auto safety brake system is also incorporated in the unit.</p>
<p>This is<strong> simply smart lighting for all outdoor requirements, requiring no access to mains power</strong>.</p>
