Advantages Of Supercapacitors
Supercapacitor batteries are capable of charging and discharging in temperatures as low as -50C while also performing at high temperatures of up to 65C.
Variable energy supply characteristics of solar and wind power generation, with balanced load demands, and differences in time-of-use, stability and quality of such power supply must be equal to, or greater than conventional grid power generation systems for individual or microgrid energy storage. Supercapacitors fulfill this.
Compared with other storage methods, supercapacitor batteries have major advantages including reliability and durability.
Major advantages include:
- a wide working temperature range
- flexible and convenient system design
- long service life
- rapid charging
- short-term power supply
- high storage efficiency, stability, and safety
- no thermal runaway
- no environmental pollution
- high power density, charge & discharge rates
- energy efficiency
- economic benefits through economies of scale
Grid outages from bushfires, flooding, and fallen trees from storm damage occur more frequently with changing climates and aging electricity networks. Reliable energy storage is a necessity now.
Our Technology At The Forefront
Graphene supercapacitor batteries are technologically superior in many ways. Their high C rate performance from 2C- 6C provides a large and rapid power input and output. They give improved stability and efficiency to grid auxiliary services such as smoothing new energy or frequency regulation with thousands of cycle times under heavy loads.
With no pollution emissions, long cycle life, no thermal runaway risk, and reduced operational maintenance costs, graphene supercapacitors are the safest technology.

Supercap Wall or Ground-Mounted EM Series
Specific benefits of wall-mounted supercapacitor energy storage systems vary depending on the design and application of systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
Some benefits of wall-mounted energy storage systems:
Rapid charge/discharge: EV vehicles and charging stations
Space-saving: Wall-mounted supercapacitor energy storage systems can help save space by being mounted on walls, freeing up valuable floor space.
Easy installation: Systems are generally easier and faster to install than floor-mounted systems since there’s no need to lay down a foundation or construct additional support structures.
Improved safety: Can be designed to minimize risk of exposure to electrical components, which can improve safety for maintenance personnel and other workers.
More efficient cooling: Can optimize cooling and reduce the risk of overheating, to improve energy efficiency and extend the lifespan of the system.
Lower maintenance costs: More accessible and easier to maintain, reducing maintenance costs over time.
Customizable: Systems can be customized to fit specific spatial and energy requirements, making them versatile solutions for a range of energy storage needs.
Benefits of Supercapacitor batteries for golf carts, ATVs and AGVs:
Faster charging: Supercapacitors can charge much faster than traditional lead-acid batteries, allowing golf carts to be ready for use in a much shorter amount of time.
Longer lifespan: They have far more cycles of charge and discharge with a much longer lifespan than lead-acid batteries.
Higher efficiency: Higher charge and discharge efficiency mean they can store and release more energy with less loss.
Improved performance: Supercapacitors can deliver bursts of power and acceleration quickly, which is beneficial for hilly regions.
Lightweight: Batteries are typically lighter than lead-acid batteries, which reduces the overall weight of the golf cart and improves maneuverability.
Better reliability: They are less prone to failure due to factors such as temperature changes and vibration.
Environmentally friendly: Supercapacitors do not contain toxic chemicals making them more environmentally friendly.
Fast charging enables forklifts to spend less time being charged and more time in operation. Supercapacitors give improved performance and deliver bursts of power quickly for heavy loads. Reduced battery maintenance also reduces the overall cost of operation and ownership. Other benefits are the same as for golf carts.
Rapid energy transfer for an increase in productivity, longer life-span, reduced downtime, safe and environmentally friendly
Increased productivity, consistent reliable power, reduced downtime, rapid recharging, non-toxic and recyclable
Highest energy transfer, rapid recharging, increased efficiency and economics, safe, and reliable graphene supercapacitor cells
Supercapacitor batteries are vitally important for coast guard vessels and passenger ferries for several reasons:
Emergency power: Vessels need to be able to operate reliably in emergency situations, and batteries can provide backup power in case of a power outage or other failure.
Auxiliary power: Batteries provide auxiliary power for onboard equipment such as lights, communication systems, navigation, and emergency medical equipment.
Reduced emissions: Many coast guard vessels are operated in environmentally sensitive areas and using batteries instead of traditional fossil fuels can help reduce emissions and minimize the vessel’s impact on the environment.
Improved efficiency: Batteries can be used to store energy generated by the vessel’s engines, which can help improve the overall efficiency of the vessel and reduce fuel consumption.
Increased safety: Coast guard vessel safety is increased by providing reliable power for critical systems such as steering, navigation, and communication.
Cost savings: Using batteries instead of traditional fuel reduces the overall operating costs.
